There are many types of health and safety materials available at Next which can be used to prevent potential damage, these include materials such as fire blankets, first aid packets, protective clothing and safety signs.
FIRE BLANKETS
Fire blankets are used to prevent fire, they are designed to extinguish small or starting fires. It consists of a sheet of fire retardant material which is placed over a fire in order to smother it, these can be found at designated positions at Next stores.

FIRST AID PACKETS
There are many first aid packets stations around NEXT stores, these can be used by anyone at the store who notices an injury, the first aid kit can be used to prevent minor injuries from escalating, injuries such as cuts, slips or sprains.
PROTECTIVE CLOTHING
Every Next store has at least 3 protective gear in the stock room which can be used in times of emergency, these emergencies consist of gas leaks, hazardous chemical leaks from pipes or other places, if these are noticed by staffs, it should be reported to any higher staff members such as managers or if you are alone you must take action to reduce or prevent any casualties
SAFETY SIGNS
Safety signs can be found in and around any NEXT store, they are majorly used to indicate where exits are or where equipments are such as first aid kits, fire equipments or wet floor signs.
